Now that the referendum is won, UKIP is not going anywhere. There is still a job to be done. We have to make sure that the will of the people is implemented. Now that parliament has authorised triggering article 50, it is but another step in the process. We face a battle to keep the government honest, are they going to surrender our fishing waters again? There is some thought that they might.
The government could have avoided all this had they triggered article 50 on 24th June like David Cameron promised. They did not even have to use article 50, they could have repealed the European Communities act and we would have been out now and saved 30 million pounds a week over the last 9 months. We hold all the cards. The EU needs us, not the other way round. Will it even still exist in 2 years?
